Tyler Goodro/Owner
Tyler has dedicated over 15 years to the sport of baseball, shaping the skills of thousands of youth, high school, and collegiate players through instruction, coaching, and scouting. His extensive background includes five seasons in professional baseball and valuable time as an Area Associate Scout for the Phillies and Twins organizations, covering Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa.
His athletic prowess was evident early on at Creighton Prep, where he received First Team All-Nebraska recognition as both a junior and senior. A memorable moment came in 2004 when his game-winning RBI helped secure Creighton Prep's 8th State Championship at Rosenblatt Stadium. Highly recruited, Tyler chose the University of Arkansas-Fayettevilleover offers from top programs, and though his tenure was brief, he credits the coaching staff there with laying the foundation for his instructional career.
Tyler's impact continued at Butler Community College, where he played a crucial role in their Region VI Championship. As catcher, he guided the team to a one-hit shutout, earning Butler a rare trip to the NJCAA World Series. His impressive .461 hitting earned him All-Tournament Honorable Mention as Butler achieved a 6th place national finish. He then moved to the University of Cincinnati, contributing to teams that set regular season records for wins, batting average, and home runs, ultimately finishing as Big East runners-up.
During his five-year professional baseball career, Tyler had the unique experience of playing for two World Series-winning managers and catching a host of pitchers who reached the Big Leagues
